Ben Egerton
Sr. (Father of 4 T35 Eagles) passed away. He and Jackie were
foster parents to at least two generations of Troop 35ers. I’m
sure there would have been fewer finishers in the 40 Miler,
without their hot soup and clean socks at the 30 mile point. We
will all miss them. Obituary |

June 14, 2005, JACQUELINE MAHL EGERTON passed away.
She is survived by her spouse, Ben Egerton, sister
Linda Cope, five children (Eagles #s 112, 138,156
& 182) and 15 grandchildren.
A note from Eagle 173, Mrs Egerton played a
key role in my younger years. She was my
science and math teacher in 4th grade and went far
out of her way to make sure this dyslexic student
understood the work. A few years later she
knitted my Eagle Scout hat. She will always
have a place in my heart. |
